Requirements for CE Credit
A continuación desglosamos las opciones para validar los créditos de esta revista con las agencias acreditadoras y los costos correspondientes:
Costo: $10.00
- Validar los créditos por el Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) y se refleje en su NABP e-profile accediendo el artículo y prueba en el CPE Monitor del CFPR.
- Para acceder la educación y validar sus créditos en línea, debe comunicarse al Colegio de Farmacéuticos vía telefónica al (787) 753-7157 o por correo electrónico a cecfpr@gmail.com para proceder a enviarle la hoja de auorización de método de pago. Luego se le proveerá las instrucciones y el access code para acceder la educativa en línea.
- Si elige pagar con cheque o giro, debe ser enviado por correo postal a nombre del Colegio de Farmacéuticos de Puerto Rico, junto con la hoja de contestación de la educación, a la siguiente dirección: P.O. Box 360206, San Juan, P.R. 00936-0206. Al recibir el pago, se le estará enviando a vuelta de correo el certificado. Todo cheque devuelto tendrá un cargo de $15.00.
Objectives
- 1. Discuss the implications of inappropriate and unnecessary use of antibiotics.
- 2. List the elements necessary to make a systematic evaluation of a patient’s antibacterial regimen.
- 3. Identify potentially inappropriate antibiotic prescriptions.
- 4. Name common acute infections for which the use of antibiotic is not indicated.
- 5. Vale the role of the pharmacist and pharmacy technician in the implementation of the antibiotic’s stewardship strategies in diverse pharmacy settings.
- 6. Give examples of interventions that reduce the inappropriate use of antibiotics and the transmission of infectious diseases in the community setting.
