Objectives
- Discuss the formulation and describe the use of equipment and devices for pediatric formulations.
- Prepare two pediatric formulations.
- Review the calculations and procedures used to prepare selected veterinary formulations.
- Apply pharmaceutical calculations to accurately determine the ingredient quantities required for compounding Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) preparations.
- Use the appropriate devices and equipment in preparing Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) preparations, in accordance with established safety and quality standards.
- Prepare Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) preparations following the appropriate formulation and compounding procedures to ensure product quality and consistency.
