- Define the concepts of chronic pulmonary disease, COPD, asthma and other chronic pulmonary conditions.
- Discuss the 2025 Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease guidelines updates and management recommendations.
- Describe non-pharmacological measures recommended for patients with COPD.
- Explain the place of therapy of the different medications and their impact on quality of life and reduced hospitalizations.
- List current and emerging treatments for COPD, including their safety, efficacy, place in therapy, and use in specific patient populations for optimal outcomes.
- Identify the challenges and barriers associated COPD management, the disease's burden, and the need to improve patient outcomes.
- Recognize the role of the pharmacy team in optimizing the care of patients with COPD.
