  • Summarize recent consensus guidelines for pharmacologic treatment and prophylaxis of migraine.
  • Pharmacy Technicians Describe the most common symptoms and triggers associated with migraine headaches.
  • List some nonpharmacologic interventions for the management of migraine.
  • List medications that are FDA-approved for migraine headache treatment and prophylaxis.
  • List the most common adverse effects associated with medications used for migraine management.
  • Recognize the role of the pharmacy team in caring for patients with migraine.
