Objectives
- At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to: Explain the mechanism of action of GLP drugs on the different body systems and organs identify the benefits and adverse events, with their associated risks
- List the FDA approved indications for use of GLP drugs
- Describe the correct and safe use of these drugs and the dangers associated with unsupervised use of these drugs
- Recognize the role of pharmacy personnel in ensuring the effective and safe use of these drugs
