Objectives
- At the conclusion of the activity, participants, should be able to: Discuss recent government actions (legislative and regulatory) to advance pharmacists’ practices.
- Discuss the expanded role of pharmacy practice including treatment administration
- Discuss role of the Pharmacy personnel (pharmacists and pharmacy technicians) in the vaccination process

- Discuss controlled substance prescription requirements under the Act 123-2023
- Describe the latest federal regulations related to the practice of pharmacy including changes to patients out of pocket expense changes included in the inflation reduction act; prices of insulins; impact in commercialization of pharmaceutical products
