Objectives
- Identify the rights that were impacted by the application of Law 41 of 2023
- Evaluate the options that the employer has to adjust the payments made under the repealed Law 42 (example Christmas bonus)
- Discuss what are the vacation and sickness benefits that are in effect and how to compute them.
- Identify the laws from which the rights enacted in the Working Women’s Bill of Rights arise.
- Discuss the protection of genetic information that employees have.
- Identify which employees the employer can ask for their credit history without violating the law.
- Discuss how the law of special leave for employees impacts in situations of domestic or gender violence, child abuse, sexual harrassment in emplooyment, sexual assault, lewd acts or stalking in its serious form.
